Bayles Lake is a lake community located in central Illinois with 263 residential homes surrounding a 131 acre man-made lake. Constructed in the early 1950s, the lake is a truly unique feature in the region providing swimming, boating and fishing opportunities for residents of all ages. The lake depth ranges between 8-16 feet. Bayles Lake is stocked annually and is one of the highest-ranked fishing locations in North America.

Not only is Bayles Lake a waterfront community, it is also a golf course community adjacent to the Lakeview Country Club. The golf course measures 3180 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 115 with a 35.2 USGA rating. The course features three tee sets for different skill levels.  The course is 9 holes, with tee boxes moved for each hole to make it an 18 hole course.

The Bayles Lake Auxiliary, the Bayles Lake Homeowners Association, and private residents provide year-round fun and entertainment, including chili cook-offs, bean bag tournaments, wine and cheese socials, live bands, karaoke on the water, bonfires, and the best regional Independence Day Celebration — with a fireworks display that is absolutely out of this world. Topped with state of the art pickleball courts, this highly sought after HOA Lake Community is surrounded by beautiful small towns and farm country. Just 30 minutes north of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and two hours south of Chicago, residents have found their piece of paradise.
